Great Lakes Radio Club Inc. is based in the mid-north coast region of NSW, centred on the twin towns of Forster-Tuncurry.
The club exists to support those interested in the hobby of radio communications.

The Club maintains the VK2RGL VHF voice and UHF DMR repeaters at Cabbage Tree Mountain, west of Bulahdelah. Both repeaters provide good coverage of the lower mid-north coast NSW region.
VK2RGL on 2 metres operates on 147.100 with a + 600 KHz offset and a 91.5Hz CTCSS tone required for access. A 91.5 Hz tone is also sent. The repeater supports C4FM (receive only, output is always analogue FM) and is also accessible via EchoLink.
The VK2RGL DMR 70 cm operates on 439.775 MHz with a - 5 MHz offset and is on the VKDMR Network. The repeater is part of the ARNSW RADNET linked repeater system.

The Club call sign is VK2GLR which is used for on-air club events including our weekly net at 7:00pm local (0800 UTC in summer or 0900 UTC in winter) every Monday evening on the VK2RGL 2m repeater. Everyone is welcome to join the net, either direct or via EchoLink at VK2RGL-R.

The EchoLink node VK2RGL-R (node 939269) is kindly provided by club member David VK2BC
A publicly available web SDR covering the HF spectrum from 100 KHz to 30 MHz is provided by club member Andy VK2AAK.
